Lifeboat Day 2025
Each year, the Royal Netherlands Sea Rescue Institution (KNRM) opens the doors of its rescue stations during the annual Lifeboat Day. This event offers a unique opportunity to take a peek behind the scenes.
What's on at Lifeboat Day?
- Educational Activities: Learn all about the rescue work and the equipment used, including a look inside a survival suit.
- Ride Along Opportunity: In good weather, donors can ride along on a fast rescue boat, an experience not to be missed.
- Meetings with Rescuers: Engage with the brave volunteers and listen to their inspiring stories about the importance of their work.
- Educational Stands: Visit the information stands and participate in activities suitable for all ages, organised in and around the boathouses.
