The annual Beach Cleanup on Schiermonnikoog is the perfect chance to actively contribute to a cleaner North Sea coast. This fun and sporty event, part of the nationwide Beach Cleanup Tour, sees the beach of Schiermonnikoog thoroughly cleaned – together with enthusiastic volunteers like you!

What can you expect?

• A Beautiful Route: Walk approximately 8 kilometres along the stunning coastline of Schiermonnikoog and collect waste that doesn’t belong in nature.
• Together for the Sea: Whether you're a local or a day-tripper – everyone is welcome! You'll work with fellow participants to create a cleaner beach and a healthier sea.
• Fully Equipped Starter Kit: At the start, you’ll receive gloves, rubbish bags and a drink. You can also refill your own water bottle.
• Results and Social Time: At the end of the day, we take stock together. How much rubbish was collected? Afterwards, enjoy a drink and a chat with other participants.
