Programme of the Wad Triathlon

  • First Stage - Swimming: The triathlon begins with a 1200-metre swim. Participants jump from the boat and swim to Schiermonnikoog's marina.
  • Second Stage - Cycling: Following the swim, there's a 10 km bike ride on standard rental bikes. The route goes through the breathtaking nature of Schiermonnikoog, including forests and dunes.
  • Third Stage - Running: The triathlon concludes with a 5 km run across the island and through the dunes.
